Summer arrived late year this year! We had to reschedule this session twice because of rain and I am so glad we ended up with this beautiful summer evening.
As a side note, if you're curious about my rain policy, here's how we usually address the weather:
I typically advise we don't make a final call on weather until the evening before (or morning of your session if it's an evening session). The hourly forecast can change so much here, and honestly if the rain stops, an overcast day makes for beautiful photos with soft light!
So, we look at the hourly forecast and have a couple options
Flex the start time of your session, to fall within rain breaks
Move the session to a location that works better in the rain (UW campus has some great covered spots)
Have the session in the rain (only if you want, I never force a rain session, but you can end up with some cute rain photos)
Reschedule the session and hope for better weather
I am in constant communication with you leading up to your session so we can make the decision together!
In this case, we ended up rescheduling twice because of the rainy spring we had.
And we ended up with a beautiful sunny, summer evening
