Since opening back up in Washington's Phase 2 I've had quite a few sessions booked for families with babies around 3 months old. People who weren't able to get newborn photos done due to quarantine now want family photos and I am loving the opportunity to capture babies at this stage!
Older babies have more personality, we even get some smiles! Parents and siblings have adjusted to life with the new addition a bit more; parents aren't (as) sleep deprived, and older siblings are more comfortable with baby.
I encourage you to get family photos when a little one joins you. That can be at the newborn stage, but it doesn't have to! Family photos at any stage of life are worth it. Document those memories, and get in those photos! You won't regret it!
